History:

The Waukesha County Christian Home Educators, a small home schooling support group, sought to establish a sports program to give home school students the opportunity to participate in athletics. In 1997, a basketball program began for boys and girls in the fifth through eighth grade. We entered the Lake Area Christian Conference in 1998 and were able to offer flag football and volleyball to our athletes. A high school boys basketball team was established in 1998. Seeing the need to encourage other area homeschoolers to join us, the name was changed to Southeast Wisconsin Christian Homeschool Athletics (SWCHA).

The Saints sports program began with 30 athletes and has grown to serve almost 150 athletes competing in soccer, flag football, volleyball, basketball, track, golf and baseball.  High School Tackle Football and High School Girls Soccer were added in 2006.
Mission Statement:

The Southeast Wisconsin Christian Homeschool Athletics program serves the homeschool community by offering a comprehensive program in competitive sports. We strive to build Godly character by enabling our athletes to learn life lessons in a team environment. Our goals are to teach skill development, encourage our athletes to work hard, and to develop good sportsmanship and attitudes. We encourage our athletes to live according to Colossians 3:23:
“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men.”
Colossians 3:23

The SWCHA Board:
